Israeli Minister of Agriculture Visits SCR
Netanya, Israel (Feb 16, 2010), SCR Engineers Ltd welcomed a visit from the Israeli Agriculture Minister, Mr. Shalom Simchon, on February 16th, 2010 at its corporate headquarters in Netanya's Poleg Industrial Zone.
SCR Engineers' VP of Sale and Marketing, Ori Inbar, said the visit was testament to the technological and technical leadership exhibited by the Company in recent years.

In his visit, the Minister was particularly interested in SCR's technologies' integration in milking robots manufactured by DeLaval and Lely, the global leaders in robotic milking, together holding a 90% share of the world robotic milking market.
"The labor saving potential of robotic milking goes hand in hand with the Government's recent initiative to eliminate foreign labor in agriculture", the Minister said.
SCR's CEO, Meir Rabinovitch, said the Minister's visit is the first step in strengthening the relationship between industry and Government and increasing cooperation to improve the dairy industry's status.
Mr. Rabinovitch mentioned that "The successful deployment of Israeli dairy know-how and unique technologies provides a tremendous boost to the Israeli economy and Israel's international stature."
